Like I said in most post above, it sort of works but only passes one argument.


No, it passes all of the arguments. The main problem is that test.pl specifically specifies to print only 1 of the arguments.

change

print "$ARGV[0]";


to

print $ARGV[2];  # print the 3rd arg


or

print "@ARGV";


or

print "$_\n" for @ARGV;
