Searching for alt.perl in Whole Site

There seems to be something funny going on with the search script.
I tried searching for alt.perl with the "Whole Site" option, and this is the result I got :
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Arial,Helvetica,sans serif">code:</font><HR>

Searched for: alt.perl.
You did not enter any search criteria. Please try again.</pre><HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

I get the same result when I use the "Learning Ctr" option. But when I do the same search with the "Perl Guide" option, I get "Sorry, your search failed because no matching records".

Just thought you should know...

Re: Searching for alt.perl in Whole Site

I see what you mean. I've contacted the program developer about the newsgroup search.

The alt.perl search for "Whole Site" or "Perl Guide" didn't work because there are no listings in the guide or any reference to alt.perl in the Learning Center.

perlguru.com is an extension to the Perl Archive, and isn't indexed for inclusion in the search results.

Re: Searching for alt.perl in Whole Site

The newsgroup search is operational again -- apparently, Deja had made a couple of changes which caused the program to cease yielding results.

Thank you for bringing it to our attention. If you have any other questions, comments or feedback. please let us know.
