HTML Code inside a TEXTAREA

This may sound like a dumb question, but is there a way to display HTML code (specifically /TEXTAREA) inside a TEXTAREA without ending the original TEXTAREA tag?

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Arial,Helvetica,sans serif">code:</font><HR>

<TEXTAREA NAME="text">
<FORM ACTION=whatever>
<TEXTAREA NAME="foo"></TEXTAREA> <-- This /TEXTAREA tag ends the first one.
</FORM>

</TEXTAREA>
</pre><HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Re: HTML Code inside a TEXTAREA

You could use this:
<form>
<textarea>
<textarea>
<textarea&rt;
</textarea>
</form>

Re: HTML Code inside a TEXTAREA

Sorry, the browser interprits my code... but it would be like this:
& gt;/textarea>

Except, no space between & and gt;
