Re: Kudos

OH yeah, i forgot. You guys need to get some merchandise or something. T-shirts, caps, coffee mugs ( for that late night programming), etc. I think that would be pretty neat, atleast i would buy me a shirt. Have neat little sayings on the shirts like freddo has in his sig, real programmers are surprised when their odometers dont change from 99999 to 9999a, things like that. Also just a regular Perl Guru shirt with maybe username customizations on it. Also this will generate extra revenue for you ( or extra pains ). Get some programming or geek apparrel stores ( www.geekstuff.com) to sell your stuff so you dont have to bother with the sending out of the orders.

Just a idea :)

Re: Kudos

I honestly haven't thought of that -- we'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: Kudos

Cool! Seriously, i would buy a t-shirt that had the perl guru logo and stuff on it. Also they need to be funny for programmers but a normal person would be clueless. Its funny to see their blank stare as if they are thinking what is that jumble of words and symbols written all over you.

Re: Kudos

I browsed around and a found a pretty neat site that sells that kind of stuff. It is http://www.copyleft.net/. It has a ton of t-shirts and other merchandise that might give you some ideas if you want to actually go through with it. There shirts are funny too.

Re: Kudos

Will be sure to check it out. I mentioned your suggestion to my partner (James) and he was very intrigued with the idea -- thanks again!

Re: Progress

Well, we're still thinking about it and looking around at options. I wouldn't expect anything soon, but rest assured, we'll let everyone know when/if t-shirts become available :)

Thanks again!
