perl cgi to ban IP blocks Can't Post

i have been looking for a cgi program written in perl for UNIX .

i have a domain and would like to be able to ban blocks of IP's . i.e. ban from accessing any part of my webs. a control panel would be nice but not that important as long as the script were easily configurable.

any help locating something like this would be appreciated.

...thanks in advance

Unless you all your pages are CGI-based, you're better off using server access controls. Specific vary from server to server, but if you use Apache or any other NCSA-based server then you'd want to use an .htaccess containing Deny statements, like this ...

  Order Allow,Deny
Allow from all
Deny from 212.45.
