Begginer in MYSQL Can't Post

what are some good books for begginers going in to doing MYSQL? any suggestions?

Hello,
Personally I found the MySQL Reference Manual (yes, the one that comes with MySQL) pretty good at explaining how MySQL works, along with a quick SQL tutorial, API reference. Perl's DBI package comes with excellent info that is indispensable if you want to access your databases from perl.

New Riders "MySQL" by Paul DuBois is excellent and extensive. I used it to learn MySQL and continue to use it as a reference for even obscure questions.
