Using Perl to edit an image? Can't Post

Hello,

ok time i ask a question.

This one is pretty general, but i do not know where to start to look for info.

i have a client that would like a script that will edit an image, now, i do know the perl end, but i do not know about the image end.

so, my question is 2 fold:

1) is it possible to edit an image by passing info from perl?
2) if so, then whetre might i find some docs on how to do so?

what i mean by this is (if anuone remembers) the old free site called Zyweb, they use to have a way to edit images from html pages.

Thank you for any help....

Hello,
I believe you can do alot of tricks using Image::Magick. You can also write perl plugins for the gimp but check imagemagick first.

Hope this helps,,,

Hi Aziz. Would you know any place where there's some easy reading on how to install ImageMagick (the version with the PerlMagick directory). I spent two long days trying a few months back and ended up nowhere.

Ta. Janie.
