an image?

an image? Can't Post

I started toying around with a perl module that will generate a gif file. It will also output the data directly to the web browser (the binary data that composes the gif file). How would I use this best to generate dynamic graphs (gif file) and display them without generating a file and re-directing to that new file?

Check out the chart related modules on CPAN. They probably don't use gif format, but using the modules in lieu of handrolling your own will exponentially save you time.
