Newspro questions (i can't acces the np forum so i'll try it here) Can't Post

Hello,

I hope you can answer my question.
i'm going to let the whole site un on newspro.
( you could take a look: www.cold-ice.com/site )
As you can see i've merged the interview, review and preview headlines to
getter and placed them into the right cell: features

No i want to make a page (with a ssi or cgi based) to show ALL the
headlines from the interviews, reviews and previews on seprated pages. for
example www.cold-ice.com/interviews will contain ALL the interviews (with
the writer behind it) But i can't find a way to get this done.

I also can't get on the newspro forum cause i get a 500 error.

so i hope you can help me.

Hi

I fyou want to snag some info from website(s) you can use the LWP::simple module

Exmaple

use LWP::Simple;
$content = get("http://www.sn.no/");
print $content;

To prevent the 500 errors ->->
If you want to send fatal (die, confess) errors to the browser, ask to
import the special "fatalsToBrowser" subroutine:

use CGI::Carp qw(fatalsToBrowser);
die "Bad error here";

Fatal errors will now be echoed to the browser as well as to the log. CGI::Carp
arranges to send a minimal HTTP header to the browser so that even errors that
occur in the early compile phase will be seen.
Nonfatal errors will still be directed to the log file only (unless redirected
with carpout).
