DBI Can't Post

Hello,

Does any1 know how to specifiy what server to connect to using the DBI module:

$dbh = DBI->connect('DBD:Sybase:DBNAME', 'ursername','pword') or die $DBI::errstr;

Here i specify that its a sybase db and it name, where do u say what server to connectect to.

Yaz,

You don't say where the DB server is. This would be one of those security violations to beat all security violations. The server is known to your web server because either there is a Sybase database manager running on the same machine or, better still, there is a DNS entry and an connection setup to that database on the web server machine. You should never need to know where the server is.
