Perl commands Can't Post

I need a list of the Perl commands and how to write them down(the syntax).
For now I need to know whats the READ and LC command for.

For a list of all builtin Perl function, type

perldoc perlfunc

For help on a specific function, type

Code
perldoc -f function

where function is the name of the function you need help on.
Example:

perl v5.6.0

lc EXPR

lc Returns an lowercased version of EXPR. This is the internal
function implementing the `\L' escape in double-quoted
strings. Respects current LC_CTYPE locale if `use locale' in
force. See the perllocale manpage and the utf8 manpage.

If EXPR is omitted, uses `$_'.
