cookies Can't Post

hello,

ok, i am using cookie.lib for my cookies, but i am now finding out that cookie.lib does not seem to work with netscape...???

can someone please explain to me why? and/or tell me where to go to get a module that will run cookies on both IE and NETSCAPE??

thank you for any help...

I Hope this helps...

perl programmers don't die.. they just start writing a new script.

Re: cookies [In reply to] Can't Post

Why don't u just use CGI.pm?

use CGI qw(header cookie);
# or: use CGI qw(:cgi);

$NewCookie = cookie(-name => 'mycookie', -value => '2');
print header(-cookie => $NewCookie);

....

my $Value = cookie('mycookie');

check the CGI.pm manpage for details. Currently I'm just guessing that's the code exactly.
By the way, is your netscape configured to accept cookies?
