Well, I'm asking so, because I've seen a program (a while ago), which was claimed to be written in Perl. That was a fully workable win32 prgoram, just a normal .exe file. The reason they wrote it in perl, was off course the fact you can re-compile it into the code for an other platform. I find perl very useful, but in win32, you simply can't give someone a .pl program (in UNIX that's different). Meanwhile, I just keep on writing cgi programs... which is very funny anyway. --- whooo forgot something...
