Perl Compiler (win32) Can't Post
Hi there.

I'm looking for a perl compiler.
Who knows a URL??

I prefer a compiler for M$ Windows...

I've never seen a good Perl compiler. There's one shipped with Perl (perlcc). I never got that one running under Win32. And there's another commercial one, but I can't remember the URL. However, that one created awfully large code and didn't seem to work with many modules.
My only recommendation is to keep your hands from trying to compile executables from Perl code. Use the Perl interpreter or write C code that will compile into executables.

Well, I'm asking so, because I've seen a program (a while ago), which was claimed to be written in Perl. That was a fully workable win32 prgoram, just a normal .exe file.

The reason they wrote it in perl, was off course the fact you can re-compile it into the code for an other platform.

I find perl very useful, but in win32, you simply can't give someone a .pl program (in UNIX that's different).

Meanwhile, I just keep on writing cgi programs... which is very funny anyway.
