Yep, I post a look-a-like question..

My download script does almost everything I want.

a. It manages the download statistics.
b. It produces a <FORM method="POST"> tag containing a <SELECT> box you can choose the download location (can be everywhere).

c. If you have JavaScript, your browser is redirected using JavaScript to the download location. That triggers my download manager ( http:// aswell. This is not the normal entry route. In my website, the requested download page is opened in a small JavaScript popup (if possible)
