Replacement for Matt's Script Archive Can't Post

Everyone knows that the scripts in Matt Wright's Script Archive horrible, right? They are inseucre, buggy and are written in a really nasty Perl 4 style without using any modules (particularly

It doesn't do Perl's image any good that the most widely used Perl scripts on the web are written in such bad Perl.

Recently a number of us have decided to to something about this sad state of affairs and have launched the nms project.

nms is an attempt to replace all of Matt's scripts with ones that are written much better. Please visit the project homepage at to see what we've done.

And if you like them, please start to promote our scripts whenever you hear someone talking about MSA.

sorry dude...

But I agree that there a lot of perl scripts in this world, that are buggy. Or use bad techniques to get the script parameters, and so on.
