CPAN Can't Post

I've converted some of my code to modules (so it's very easy to use it in my programs)
  • Should I also register them at CPAN?
  • And how can I do that?
  • Can I also just post the link (so users still get redirected to my website)

I just couldn't find anything about that at CPAN Frown Unsure

The modules+documentations are available online at:

If you think they're good and usable for others, and you're willing to maintain/fix the code when you receive bug reports or other requests, then definitely yes.

First, you've got to apply for a CPAN user-ID. Once you got that, you can use PAUSE (the Perl Author's Upload SErver) to manage the contents of your CPAN directory. It's all explained [url=http://www.cpan.org/modules/04pause.html]here.

You can specify an additional home page link at CPAN once you're registered.

At last with an effort he spoke, and wondered to hear his own words, as if some other will was using his small voice. "I will take the Ring," he said, "though I do not know the way."

Re: [mhx] CPAN [In reply to] Can't Post

It took me about 2 weeks to get my PAUSE request accepted....just have to write something decent now :)

Well I guess my template parser is semi-decent but not not good enough that I'd be happy for people picking it to pieces :)
