Chron tabs? Can't Post

I read somewhere (can't remember were) that there is a function either in UNIX or with PERL that lets you execute a certain function without calling it...

Like if I set a function to send mails for April 10 2002 it will run automatically without needing to call for the function...

I hope Im clear...

I would like to know if its true....and if it is....how it works?

Thanks...

Re: [Jasmine] Chron tabs? [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks for the article...thats what I've been looking at...but now I have a couple of question and I hope you can answer them...

1. Can I do several tasks with the same cron?

2. Can I write a crontab like in the article but with a CGI program? In that case can you give me an example?

Thanks anyway for your post...
