HELP: Global variables not working !!!!!!! Can't Post

Hey evrybody

I have written a Chat script with an automatic logoff for those not pressing the Logout-button.
The problem is I can't delete the username from the memberlist because the external script (it has to be
external!!!) can't use the $form{'username'} variable.
I defined a $username="$form{'username'} variable as well but every time I run the external script the
$username variable is empty.

Please show me how to make variables really global !

Thanks in advance.

ANSWERS PLEASE ALSO VIE EMAIL !!!!!!!!!!
