remote window Can't Post

Well I know how to open a remote window with javascript but ... Does anyone know how I can call this to open in a new remote window with the results of the form. ??

<td><!--- Begin ask Code --->
<table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0">
<tr>
<td><form method=post action="cgi-bin/Ask-Stu/askstu.cgi" length=5></td>
<td width="8%"><img src="./images/teaguys.gif" width="41" height="55" border="0"></td>
<td width="65%" align="center"><b><font face="Verdana" size=1 color="#555555">Have a Tea Question
</b></font><br><font face="Arial" size=2 color="#800000"><b>Ask The Tea Guys</b></font></td>
<td width="30%"><input type=text size=10 name="question"><br>
<input type=image src="./images/ask.gif" width="86" height="24" border="0"></td>

</tr><tr><td></form></td></tr>
</table>
<!---- End ask Code ----></td>

TIA
JC

Re: remote window [In reply to] Can't Post

This isnt as much a Perl question as it is
an HTML question. But to do it just add
target="_blank" to your form tage like so.

<form method=post action="cgi-bin/Ask-Stu/askstu.cgi" length=5 target="_blank">

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Ray

Re: remote window [In reply to] Can't Post

Yes that is correct to open it in a new browser window. But the question was to open it in a remote window .. ie

<script>
<!--
function openit(){
winda =
window.open("http://www.useractive.com/udidit.html","newone","scrollbars,toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=yes,resizable=yes,width=620,height=400");
winda.focus();
}
//-->
</script>

and produce the result of the form method=post. But thanks for your input.
