Database in Perl Can't Post

Hi,
How can I maintain a Database in Perl. I would like a script, which should be able to create/append/delete a record in a database. Can any one guide me with a procedure for doing the above task.
All inputs are appreciated.
Thanks,
Anent

Re: [anent] Database in Perl [In reply to] Can't Post

anent,

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of pre-made perl scripts for maintaining databases. I'd suggest you start your search here: http://perlarchive.com/guide/Databases/index.shtml.

There's a good overview of the various options available in the first couple of chapters of Programming the Perl DBI by Descartes and Bunce.
