Stop Access Can't Post

What is the best , most secure way to stop someone from doing something more than 1 time.
I am making an affiliates program and want to stop people from cheating.

I have so far..

- Set a Cookie - But cookies can be deleted.

- Logged their IP Address. - But IP addys can be changed.

- Stored their email address. - But we all have 100 emails dont we...

- I have set up something that detects hot many clicks came from that domain.. and if it equals a certain amount the user is flaged and will be reviewed.

- While they join the program they see a randomly generated Image and have to type what they see into a box, and if there word equals the word on the image.. they can join... (this is to help me stop bots)

But i want to make it Super Secure and not have to worry about cheaters.

So what is the best way i can stop bots, and the same Computer from ever getting to do a specific task more than 1 time ?

Hope you can help,

Generally when ppl fake there click throughs or whatever type of affliate thing you are doing they do it in mass so this clicks will all be very close together, so you could log like 5 minute periods and if it has like a 1000 clicks in that 5 minutes you can flag them and check out there site to see if it legit. Also you might want to check where these clicks are coming from(exact page) 'cause sometimes they will have it hidden in a member area and you cant reach it without membership and they force they're members to click it a lot to go to certain areas etc. Of hand that is really i can think of, but you are on the right track. For the auto bot signing up stuff you should have that picture thing and also consider switching around names of the input boxes and have your script just check the various names that you have for them, that way it makes more randomness to your page and harder for bots to spam.

hope that helps

I was thinking about this. Why not just Javascript an eventhandler to stop accepting left mouse clicks after the ClickThrough is clicked. You could release this lock after say 30 seconds. It is a simple script to write.

Good Luck,

print unpack"u*",pack "h*",$a,"\n\n";

What about disallowing a click from an IP for 5 minutes, after the click?

ps.. don't use JavaScript. Try to block the users at the server, not at some client. We could use another (non-js) client, or build a LWP::Simple tool in Perl Smile
