You don't have to create that directory, it's most probably already there. It's just that you only see *your private* directory when using FTP, you won't see the system directories such as /usr/bin. You don't have to do anything, except to make sure that your provider has installed perl as /usr/bin/perl. Some providers have it installed in a different location (e.g. /usr/local/bin/perl), in this case you'll have to change the first line of each of your cgi-scripts to that path. Most providers tell you in their FAQ where the perl executable is installed. Hope this helps. -- mhx
