Dynamic data on a web page Can't Post

Can you take a list and query a database to populate the options using CGI and Perl. I am new to all this, and only realy know html. I know you can do it with ASP, but would rather use perl!

There are several ways to interpret your question, and the answer for each is yes.

Perhaps you'll get a more satisfactory answer if you would restate your question with a bit more detail.

I have a web form and there are some values that I would like to draw in from a table rather than to hardcode it into the form...how do I get the form to read from the table?

I would suggest an SSI that calls a script that reads this database and outputs the <option> lines back to the browser.
