PERL SMTP on Windows 2000? Can't Post

Hi all,

Anyone out there know how to get a PERL script running in a windows 2000 environment to send an email to MS Outlook? Will SMTP work?
If so, do you know of a good source code page for examples?

Thanks!
Gary

You should be able to use the Net::SMTP module. You just need to know the name of your local SMTP server.

Another option would be to use the nms_sendmail program which simulates a subset of sendmail behavior on a Windows platform.
