How can I do for exctract chars and replace it? Can't Post

Hi from Mexico, I need some help about this:



I need find a substring and insert other in the same position. Example:

"The world is a beattifull place to live", and I need change "world" for "universe" and the phrase most be "The universe is a beattifull place to live".

ok, thanks a lot Perl Masters and sorry for my bad english dommain...

You need to look at the substitution operator and regular expressions.
