Generate HTML then go to bookmark Can't Post

Hi all,

I am generating a page of HTML using perl but really want the user to be able to go straight to a specific point within the page I just created.

e.g.

< A HREF = "cgi-prog_to_create_page#bookmark" >Go straight to the place< /A>

is this possible ??

Thanks

In your CGI output make sure you place anchors ...

<a name="bookmark">And my bookmarks</a> are [..]

Replace "bookmark" in the above with whatever you want to show after the #. (ie, <a name="disclaimer"> if you wanted to get to http://domain/some.cgi#disclaimer.)

That should work just fine.

Give it a shot. If it doesn't work, post a reply...
