AOL email? Can't Post

Hello,

I am doing some scripting for a very small client who only has two Windows workstations and an AOL account for net access. The client has a team of ~ 10 sales folks. The script does some simple figure calculations based on spreadsheet entries, and then I want it to mail the sales team with the results (client doesn't want to have to do this manually).

The problem is, only net access available is via AOL. Is there a way to interface with AOL's email client from perl?

Any other solutions/ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

Re: [adrockjames] AOL email? [In reply to] Can't Post

Perhaps (the non-Perl) [url=http://www.aol2pop.com/]AOL2POP? It seems to offer a SMTP gateway, which you could then use with one of the many Mail::* modules?

Alternatives are interacting with the AOL email client via Win32::OLE (assuming AOL can be driven in such fashion) or the more general (and again, non-Perl) [url=http://www.hiddensoft.com/AutoIt/]AutoIt.

--k.
