Printing links in a loop Can't Post

Hi,
I was able to print the links in a loop, but i want to know how to write code to activate the link
For example,
I have
$select ="select conferenceRoomName from ConferenceRooms where location ='$roomid'";
$sybHandle = $syb->prepare($select);
$sybHandle->execute();
while (my ($confid,$conf) = $sybHandle->fetchrow ) {
print qq(<A href="modify.cgi?location=$roomid">$conf</a> <br> );
print "\n";
}
$sybHandle->finish()
I was able to print the links.I want to know how to activate the link.
The link was showing http://server.com/modify1.cgi?location=200 street
How do i activate each of the links.

Looks like a perfectly good link to me: so what do you mean by "activate"?

The program is displaying a group of links.
If i click on a link the program is getting stopped. What should i do to activate the link. Should i write code in modify1.cgi?
The link should display the record where location is the roomid (215 street).
Where do i write this code?
Please help me
