templates Can't Post

I've seen many scripts that make good use of templates. I want to know is how to implement a template system. I know about the search and replace, but I've also seen scripts where there are if/then statements within the templates themselves. How would you be able to do that? Is there someone willing to point me in the right direction or shed any light on this topic?

thanks

Re: [SaiyanM] templates [In reply to] Can't Post

Please don't invent a new templating system. There are already about two dozen on [ulr "http://search.cpan.org/"]CPAN. My personal choice is the Template Toolkit but there are many other good choices.
