Quick Question Can't Post

How do I find the date of creation of a file.. I tried using File::stat and the following code:

($readtime,$writetime) = (stat($Fname))[8,9];

I still end up with an empty string for both.. I'm using winNT.. Any suggestions?

Re: Quick Question [In reply to] Can't Post

File::stat doesn't return the same things as stat() does. Try either not using File::stat (which is what your code expects), or read the documentation and use it correctly.
