Bit wise operators Can't Post

Could someone give me the meaning of each of these operators and example of how they are used. I do not get them what so ever.
op1 & op2

op1 | op2

op1 ^ op2

~op1

op1 >> op2

op1 << op2

And what are bitwise operators?

The answers you seek are all contained in perlop, a document that is part of the standard perl distribution.
