Data transfer to be implemented in C/S environment Can't Post

 

I am working out to develop a large client server system. I need to transfer larga amounts of data between them...How can I implement the data transfers.

ftp? http? scp? any number of other protocols.

I've just advised this to someone else, somewhere here, not long ago. Think c++/sockets for fast client/server programs. Don't use Perl.
