form showing items already selected Can't Post

Is there a form that users can check off items on, and the check mark remains on the form? For instance, say I'm having a big potluck dinner, I post the menu on the form, and each invitee can check what they will bring. The next invitee to look at the form will know which items have already been checked off.
SmileThanks

Re: [audioone] form showing items already selected [In reply to] Can't Post

if you submit the form, your script read it out and see what is checked or not.
so let your script rebuild this Form into a file
and after writing the file rename it to the original HTML form and the old with timestamp as old
you just need a var which holds the stat of the checkbox
and if it "checked" then you can print it behind your inputtype and if it unchecked just print a space in your new html form like

Code
<p><input type="checkbox" name="C1" value="ON" ></p>
<p><input type="checkbox" name="C2" value="ON" checked></p>

after rename the new written form the next invite clicks the link and get the checked form
hope it helps
