can anyone help me with system command

system('C:\WINNT\Profiles\satyana\Desktop\SnowballGermanStemmer\GermanStemmer_inputOutputFiles.bat');

I want run the batch file like we do it on command line

when I used the system ,it is giving me error that system did not find the file but the path I have given is perfect

The backslash has a special meaning in quoted strings. You'll need to either double your backslashes or convert them to forward slashes.
