How to modify perl script to use fastCGI? Can't Post

I installed the fastCGI for apache and it seems to start up fine but when I try to run my script I get this error:

[Sun Dec 07 22:35:10 2003] [error] [client 192.168.0.2] FastCGI: comm with server "/usr/local/apache/sites/forum/www/index.fcgi" aborted: idle timeout (30 sec)
[Sun Dec 07 22:35:10 2003] [error] [client 192.168.0.2] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/usr/local/apache/sites/forum/www/index.fcgi"

Is there anything you need to do to a regular perl CGI to "port" it to use fastCGI?

Have you read the docs?
