"Email A Friend" form - How to implement this? Can't Post

I've tried searching these forums and many other places on the net for a tutorial on how to implement an "Email A Friend" form into my site with little luck. I'm a novice web designer, if that title even fits me. I'm currently working on a tutorial site for things that I actually know how to do and share.

http://www.mactutorials.net

In short, my web design experience is limited to crash courses in Dreamweaver, html and CSS. I'm here because I need to know how to implement a form on my site that will allow a user to email a friend that may want to view a page on my site. I don't want anything fancy, something very simple will work great. Two fields, one for the sender's email and another for the recipient's. I know that JavaScript can open the default email application and fill in some fields, but I want everything taken care of through the form and a script.

Examples:

http://www.dwfaq.com/sendtofriend.asp

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productDetail&A=EmailPage&Q=productDetail&sku=339530&is=REG

It seems that CGI/Perl is the best way to do this, or perhaps PHP/MySQL? I'm very confused and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

wether to use Perl, PHP or structured in ASP is up to you I would think. But since you are asking on a Perl forum I will suggest Perl solutions.

see if any of those canned scripts will fit the bill.
