I'm working on the Alumni section of a YMCA Summer Camp/Outdoor Center website. Immediate goals for the Alumni area include:
Summer Camp Alumni Scripts
1. Ability for users to register and enter personal data (name, email, position at camp, dates attended/worked at camp, cabin, activities, etc).
2. Ability for users to search this database and contact each other, either all or parsed according to personal data, via email.
3. Ability for the organization to manage, search the database, and contact users, either all or parsed according to personal data, via email newsletter.
4. Ability for the organization to synch the database into existing internal applications, such as FileMaker or Excel.
The scripts must integrate into the existing site and allow for adding features in the future, including at least a message board, links page, photo gallery, calendar, and news posting.
