Peter:

You may wish to check the "Link Managers" section at the Perl Archive -- there's a few programs that create and manage Yahoo!-like directories there. Notably is "Links" by Gossamer Threads -- it's what we use at the Perl Archive.

Good luck!

Hi Petter,
If you do not want to learn to program there are really only three options.
1) You buy one.
2) You hire someone to make one.
3) You find a free one.

Sence I do my own work for the most part I do not know a lot about what is out there for sale. I do know of one script that does something like this. It is by Gossamer Threads and I have seen the code on this one. It is pretty well written. There are two versions. A free one and an SQL one. The SQL one is $400 I think but the free one is just as well coded.
I am sure there is more then this one out there. Prolly hundereds. Just look through TPA and I am sure you will find one that suits you.

Scott
