how to reboot the system (windowa xp) using perl Can't Post

hi all

i need to reboot the system using perl script ..

can any body help me with the simple and best method of doing it.

I don't know enough about this to help, but have you tried searcing CPAN?

You can look at Windows specific modules.

Also a quick google for "windows xp" +perl +reboot yielded the following helpful site...

http://www.robvanderwoude.com/shutdown.html

If you scroll down the OS column on the left, you'll find a few rows for Perl with instructions.
