different ways of getting database handle Can't Post

hi all,

im trying to connect remote database with different data given.

as im new to perl , im not getting the different possibilities.

can any body help me to get a db handle using different information like

sid, tns name, as sysdba, remotehost option ..

can u give me all possible syntax of getting a db handle..

i.e. $dbh = DBI->connect(different options)



any advice gr8ly appreciated..

It depends on the DBD that you're using. It looks to me like you're using DBD::Oracle, so try reading the documentation for that module.

u r perfectly correct im using "oracle" DBD.

im going through the documentation .
