Registry Query Can't Post

Is it possible to query the registry of remote machines for information using Perl?

The purpose of the script is that I want to query all of the windows (XP SP2) machines
on my domain and come up with a quantified count of how many people are running a certain
piece of software.

Is there a module that can fetch this information?

Thanks.

Re: [yellowman] Registry Query [In reply to] Can't Post

The short answer is yes.

A quick search on CPAN produced a link to the Tie::Registry module, which sounds as though it's just what you're after.

Rich

If it aint broke then don't try to fix it

Yeah, I was looking at Tie right before I posted this and it looks like it will probably work just fine. I just figured I would throw the question out there in case anyone had any better ideas. Thanks.
