adding environment variables using perl script Can't Post

hi all

can anybody help me to add environment variables using perl script.

I need to add environment variables like "ORACLE_HOME", etc.

$ENV{'ORACLE_HOME'} = 'some value';

that will only last while the perl program is running though.
