concurrent execution of commands Can't Post

Hi,

I have a similar post in a different forum regarding concurrent execution. I want to user Perl to launch several commands concurrently.

For example,

system("/usr/bin/ping 1.1.1.1");
system("/usr/bin/ping 2.2.2.2");
system("/usr/bin/ping 3.3.3.3");

The example launches the commands sequentially. Any suggestion on how to launch the commands so that they execute at the same time or concurrently?

Thanks
