Password Protection Can't Post

I have a script that edits text files on the server using a form. How do i edit the script with an if/then statement where if a password submitted is not correct than the script gives an error.

Re: Password Protection [In reply to] Can't Post

Hello,

A question very similar has been asked and I found the post for it here,
http://www.perlguru.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/000728.shtml

I explain how to allow access to a certain page to users with access.

You can modify it so that instead of being redirected to a page when a user enters the right password and user name, the code to change / edit a file is executed, and if they don't you can change it to print and error message or access denied message.
