i wasnt sure if this was beginnner/medium etc its more of an api question.
I am wondering if IO::Socket::SSL honors blocking=no property on socket creation because in my client when I use the non-ssl socket the call returns eagain like it should but the ssl one blocks.
Here is the strace output proving my theory
ssl socket sitting forever:

) = 26
write(1, ":bling MODE bling :+iwx\r\n", 25) = 25
read(3, 0x8461a98, 4096) = -1 EAGAIN (Resource temporarily unavailable)
