IO::Socket::SSL question Can't Post

i wasnt sure if this was beginnner/medium etc its more of an api question.

I am wondering if IO::Socket::SSL honors blocking=no property on socket creation because in my client when I use the non-ssl socket the call returns eagain like it should but the ssl one blocks.

Here is the strace output proving my theory

ssl socket sitting forever:
