Accents and regular expressions Can't Post

Hi

Can someone tell me how to write a regular expression to match "téléphone" so it will match in an external file.

I can't guanantee the encoding of the external file, so I've used:

use utf8;

Nothing works so I think I've really got the wrong end of the stick somewhere.

Thanks

Personally I don't know how to do what you want. Ask on http://www.perlmonks.com if you get no replies here.
