Need help modifying MS word document Can't Post

Hi,

I have a MS word document. Is it possible to modify the word document using the Perl script. I know it is possible to convert MS word .doc to .txt and do the changes. But if I do that I will lose all the formatting.

Can you please help me with the following questions:-

1. Is it possible to write to MS word document at the end of an already existing MS word document,

2. My another question is "Is it possible to scan the MS word document and if there is a pattern match, add some text before the pattern.
For eg: If my perl script finds a pattern "Requirement no" it has to add "Test Group" in red color on top of that line.

I would appreciate your tips and suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Search CPAN for 'Word':

http://search.cpan.org/search?query=word&mode=all

I have never used any modules that modify or create Word documents and have no wish to start learning, so I can't be of amymore help.
