Regex help Can't Post
 
Hi All,
I have seen the following code but cannot fully understand this
^[0-9]\{0,\}\.[0-9]\{0,\}$
^ and $ are for anchoring patterns \. we are removing the special meaning of . . I only part i dont understand is \{0,\}

can some one help???

That is just a search pattern:

Code
\{0,\}
the pattern is: {0,}

which needs to have the curly braces escaped in a regexp otherwise it will be interpreted as a quantifier.
