Need CPu info from Perl Can't Post

Hi All

I need help in Perl

I want to know is there any Perl in-built function which will gives information about CPU f.e.g. CPU belongs to Intel family etc .

I know that by parsing the file /proc/cpuinfo I will get it but I want it from Perl script.

If anybody know it reply me back I need it ASAP.

Thanks in Advance

There is no perl built-in function that does that. There might be an extension module that does, you can search CPAN for CPU and see what you find or manually process the proc file.
