QA swap for Perl scripts. Can't Post

I am looking to swap QA (quality assurance) services with another
party that maintains freely available Perl scripts. I am planning
updates to three Perl scripts/systems that are listed on this site
and would like another pair of eyes to see the scripts before I
release them. One of the systems is ready to test now and I am
hoping to have the other ones ready by the end of the month.

If you are willing to agree to QA one of my systems I will dedicate
an equitable (and even flexible) time slot to doing QA on one of
your systems first. I am able to test with Perl 5 under Windows '98, Windows NT,
Linux, and possibly (at a pinch) Windows '95.

System: Crossword Puzzle CGI
Availability: Ready Now
Est QA time: 1-2 days

System: Locking/Mutual Exclusion for UNIX and Win32
Availability: ETA 1/17/2000
Est QA time: 1 day

System: Retrieve unanswered messages from news group
Availability: ETA 1/25/2000
Est QA time: 1 day

Cheers,
Ronald Schmidt

Re: QA swap for Perl scripts. [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Ronald,

If all you need is your scripts to be looked over and checked for oversites email me a copy of your scripts and I will be happy to look over them.

I am happy with the response so far but still have two more
systems which could use some Quality Assurance. They are the
FMutex multi-platform locking system and the "fetch_unanswered"
system for finding usenet articles to which no reply has yet
been posted.

An excerpt from a prior QA experience follows:

I could find no major flaw in the logic and in fact I was delighted with your
